Jackson, Frank Kyan and James Connors were sentenced today to-day to pay a fine of J-"i each for Ix.-lcg Ix.-lcg drunk. They will have to remain re-main - days with the chain gang. They were released a few days ago under a suspended sentence, and given 25 hours to leave town. This they failed to do, and as it had the api3rauce that they would rather be in jail than leave Salt I-ake. the court gave them the oportunity. For being drunk, James llyan was fined ?5 and James Demitey J10.
