Show Hold Dnrglary. Of late, the festive burglar has becu getting In his work at frequent interval; in ell mrt of the city and surrjunJlng liUtricts. Almast every night for the last two weeks, one, two, or more burglarim have been committed. No hour of the day or night are people safe from their depredation) or exempt from their visits. Yesterday morning between ten and eleven o'clock the residence of Mr. Joeph Auderion ft th People's Imputable Co-cp., at -115 north, Sixth Wi-sl Street was en tured, and while Mt3. Anderson and children were in the kitchen, the thief ransacked the parlor, taking tlierefrom a gold watch and chain and such other small valuables as attracted his attention. A suit of clothes was also carried off. On taking his departure the burglar took the key to the parlor door with him, presumably with the Intention of resuming his visit ousomo future occasion, but he will finithekey cf little ue, as a new lock has been substituted for the old one. Mr. Anderson would like the marauder to call when he is at home that he might make his acquaintance and give him a proper reception. A night or two ago tho residence of President McCune of the City Itailway Comtany was entered and a number of valuable articles carried off. |
