A gigantic gigan-tic stock company has Ix-en formed, called the Dahlman Dresseil Beef Company of New Jersey, for the iurpuse of turcliasing and suppling suppli-ng U10 I.uropean markets with drt-s.ed la-ef much lower thau the present rate which is now made by the beef kings of the country, Al mour, Swift, Monls and Kastman, letter known as the "Big Kour." The Dahlman Company have erected erect-ed an ImmcD-e plant al Kort Worth, Texas, which Is capable of killing and storing 700 head of cattle daily. They have made a two-years' contract con-tract with Uie Metropolitan Trading Association of London, which provides pro-vides for fortnightly delivery by tbe new company to Uie steamers of tbe London concern at Xew Orleans. Kvery shipment will be 24 It bead of cattle. New Orleans Is only 50D miles from Fort Worth. |
