Jacschke had his mother-in-law arrested, and Commissioner Greenman fined her $3 and costs. W. F. Tbey are accused of having hav-ing carried ofi Miss Myrtle Wellington, Welling-ton, a girl about 17 years of age, contrary con-trary to her parents' wlehes. This is the case that was referred to in the News about three weeks ago, where an elopement was intended. The girl disappeared, and has not been heard of by her mother since. The defendants were to have a hearing before Commissioner Greenman tills afternoon, but the witnesses were ushered into the presence of the grand Jury, ond the case was postponed post-poned till Tuesday next. Thecouple have not been married, and it is alleged that ttiegirl has been carried off for immoral purposes. TOIJCB ITEMS. Ivins Conk and Thomas Canty were fined $5 each for being drunk.
