Show Mrs. E. E. Longfellow. Sergeant Longfellow was in St. Louis attending at-tending school for two months. Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Norden and Miss Barbara Norden of Apex Mine were guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Norden Jr. of Tooele the afternoon of July Fourth, the occasion oc-casion being the birthday of Mr. Norden Jr. Mrs. Louis Wash of Holladay went home Monday after a week's stay with Mr. and Mrs. Earl T. James. Mr. and Mrs- Harold Sharp of North Hollywood arrived in Salt Lake City by plane July 2 to visit vi-sit a week with Mr, and Mrs. W. S. Jones. Miss Catherine Toy arrived Tuesday afternoon from Washington, Wash-ington, D. C, for a three-week vacation. Her mother, Mrs. Florence Flor-ence Toy, has a two-week vacation vaca-tion from J. C. Penney company and the two plan several short trips in Utah and Idaho, visiting visit-ing friends and relatives. J. J. Barrett, . operated on a week ago at St. Mark's hospital, is reported convalescing. Today (Friday) at 1 p.m. members mem-bers of the Women's Society of Christian Service will meet for a 25 cent pot luck luncheon at the Community Methodist church, it is announced by Mrs. H. R. Gust, president. , Mr. and Mrs. Dell Bridgers of Ophir visited Monday with Mr. and Mrs. S. P. Davies. Blanche Bridgers, 15, is recovering from a major operation at Bingham hospital.
