When the employes of the Thirteenth Ward store, on Main Street, appeared Uiis morning they found Uiat dur.ng the night someone some-one bad tried to get In another way than at Uie door. The would-be burglar made an effort to dig a holo through the wall, and in doing so had dug out several rocks from Uie fouudaUon, and a cumber of bricks. The wall was pierced nearly through. The housebreaker house-breaker was probably frightenee! from his work, as he left his tools leblud. Things are coming to a fine ass when brick and stone walls are assailed by thieves to gIn admittance ad-mittance to buildings. |
