Show Hart by a Horse. A most unusual incident happened at Collinstun Saturday afternoon which resulted In the very severe and painful Injury of Mrs. James Standing, who is sixty-eight years of age. A gentleman was hitching up a wild broncho, preparatory to breaking him. When the harness had been thrown upon his back he broke away, and, mad with fright, struck off to the north, dashing bead-long bead-long down Uie steep river bank and plunging Into the raglRgstream. To the astonishment of the spectators Uie infuriated beast managed to plow his way through the swollen and rapid river. On reaching tbo oppesite tank lie wheeled around awl charged across the Bear river bridge, towards Standing's Stand-ing's hotel, where several score of small children from Plymouth, Beaver Dam and Collinston, were spending their school vacation. Seeing the seemingly crazed beal rharglng toward Uie litUe ones, old lady Standing ran forward and closed the wagon gate in his way. Unheeding this, the animal sprang on Uie high fence, crushiug Mrs. Standing down beneath. She was terribly bruised and crushed, but strange to say not a bone was broken, but for some time lier life was despaired de-spaired or.
