R Horning of the Utah Gas and Coke company appeared the city commission this I morning in relation to the sug suggestion es- es lion tion of ot the Utah Gas and Coke company company that In view of the fact that thai the applicants had asked for six months postponement of the hearing the application for a franchise should be withdrawn Mr Howard who represents the applicants told the commission that C C. R R. Hurley Hurle representing the Ohio Oil company compan and brother of ot FoE FE Hurley vice president of the company would be in the city this I week and suggested that the matter matter matter mat mat- ter go over until that time Mr Howard said that considerable Eastern capital was Interested in inthe inthe inthe the proposed franchise and he did not feel it Incumbent upon him to withdraw the application until Mr Hurley could be heard The matter will come com up again I next Tuesday
