Show B.Y.U. PROFESSOR WOULD CHANGE COUNTY BOUNDARIES Dr. George H. Hansen, dean of Geography, BYU, would modernize Utah by eliminating the straight arbitrary lines designating most Utah's county areas and substitute substi-tute seven regional units with natural na-tural geographical boundaries. "Our present county units were set up in the horse and buggy days,"' Dr. Hansen said, "because limitations of transportation and communication made small units necessary. A seven-unit regional system would now serve us much btter," he declared. |
