Show 1 1 o Pretty Home Wedding Unites Couple A pretty home wedding of the past week was that of Miss Juanita Ison, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Ison of Provo, and Blaine Brailsford S 1c, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Brailsford of this city. The ceremony was performed by Bishop John Brailsford of Provo, at the home of the bride's parents, on Wednesday evening, July 25, and was witnessed by immediate family members and close friends. The couple stood in front of a mantle banked with gladiolas and asters with a large mirror and a beautiful statuette forming a pretty background. The bride was beautiful in a fuchsia wool suit with red fox trimming and white accessories. Her corsage was of gardenias. The bride is a graduate of the Provo high school and also of the Beauty school at Provo. The bridegroom is a Springville high school graduate and attended attend-ed the TJ.S.A.C. at Logan, before entering the Navy in which he has served as a radar operator for the past three years. During the time, he has particiuated in thirteen major battles, from Kiska and At-tu At-tu to the Philippines. For the past eight months, he has been on shore duty as a seaman guard at Miami, Fla. He has returned to his station and his bride will remain here for the present. VISITORS HONORED AT DINNER Mrs. Sarah Dalton entertained at dinner at her home 1st Monday, complimenting her son, Jesse Dalton Dal-ton and wife and daughter, Carol Lee, who are visiting here, coming com-ing by plane from Los Angeles, Calif. Other guests at the dinner included, in-cluded, Mrs. Vern Dalton and mother, Mrs. Casemen of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Thorn and family and the hostess. SHIRLEY HANSEN ENTERTAINS FRIENDS Shirley Hansen entertained a group of friends at a garden party par-ty at her home Monday evening. The group toasted weiners and enjoyed en-joyed games and visiting.
