Show CURRENT BOOK TO BE DISCUSSED NEXT MONDAY EVE. The book, "No Man Knows My History," reported by the author, Fawn M. Brodie, to be the heretofore hereto-fore unpublished events on history of the Mormon prophet, Joseph Smith, will be discussed by Hugh W. Nibley of Salt Lake City, next Monday evening, Jan. 20, in the Special Interest class of the Fifth ward M. I. A. An invitation is extended ex-tended to all members of the ward and others interested in hearing about the book, to be present. The meeting will begin at 7:30 p. m. The current publication, "No Man Knows My History," written by a daughter of one of the general gen-eral authorities of the church, has been the subject of much comment among church members and others, oth-ers, with the result that several church authorities have made a study of the book. Mr. Nibley is among those who are ready to disqualify dis-qualify any uncomplimentary statements made by the author on the life of the prophet. Mr. Nibley Nib-ley is the author of the book, "No Ma'am, That's Not History", which also gives his views on the Brodie I book. |
