Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Lambson have been visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Phillips, and Mrs. Lottie Lambson, in this city. . Mr. Johnson John-son plans to leave soon for Los Angeles, Calif., where he will attend at-tend summer school at the University Uni-versity of Southern California. He is instructor of music in the Ogden Og-den schools. Mrs. Clara B. Averett left Monday Mon-day for Downey, Ida., and Miss Betty Roylance left the same day for Pocatello, Ida., both to take courses in telegraphy with the Union Pacific railroad. Miss Roylance Roy-lance was accompanied by her sister, sis-ter, Norma Roylance, and also Ruth Scott of Salt" Lake City, who will spend a day or two at Pocatello. Poca-tello. Mrs. Donloe Kennedy and children chil-dren visited this week with Mrs. Emma Kennedy and family, here. She recently returned from Texas, where her husband is stationed with the Army. Mrs. Leo P. Seibold and children of San Francisco, Calif., are visiting visit-ing her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Ewing, and also her brother Howard Ewing, who has just returned re-turned home from Europe and whom she had not seen for about four years. Mrs. Vera B. Stokes recently arrived in Springville to visit her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Bartholomew. Bar-tholomew. She has been stationed at San Diego, Calif., with the WAVES, and has been given an honorable discharge. Mrs. Sterling Olsen (Grace Hol-ley) Hol-ley) and daughter Jerrilyne of Columbus, Co-lumbus, Ohio, are visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Hol-ley Hol-ley and with other relatives in Mapleton. Mrs. Berne Kindred and son Curtis Cur-tis of Tooele, visited part of the week with Mr. and Mrs. John R. Kindred in this city. Berne is stationed sta-tioned at Norfolk, Va., with the Navy. Ed L. Phillips, saddle-maker of Crawford, Colo., formerly of Lehi and American Fork, is spending the week with his daughter, Mrs. Frank Holmes, and daughter. Mrs. Earl B. Mendenhall and daughter Linda and son Jeffrey of San Francisco, Cal., are visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Holley and with other relatives and friends at Mapleton. |
