Show SCHOLARSHIPS TO BE GIVEN GIRLS The Springville unit of Legion Auxiliary has been asked to select two young women for scholarships offered by the National Foundation Founda-tion for Infantile Paralysis. A candidate must be a graduate of an approved school of Physical Education or of Nursing, or completed com-pleted two years of college, including in-cluding courses in Biology and other sciences; The scholarship will pay tuition, necessary travel to school, and living allowance. The scholarships are being offered of-fered because of the need of physical physi-cal therapists to treat paralysis. Local girls are asked to contact Mrs. Zola Gogarty, unit president, or Mrs. Fern Whitney, unit Child Welfare chairman. |
