Show VETERANS INVITED TO MEETINGS IN PROVO FRIDAY Surplus property opportunities, and problems, will be discussed with veterans of World War II from the Utah county region Friday, Fri-day, Nov. 29, when officials of war assets administration conduct a special meeting in the Armory in Provo. In addition to a frank discussion of the surplus property picture and a question period when the veterans veter-ans will be able to present their individual problems, the WAA group will bring special certification certifica-tion service and eligible veterans will be able to obtain certificates for available surplus property on the spot instead of having to apply ap-ply through the regional WAA office of-fice in Salt Lake. The certification office will remain re-main set up in the Provo Armory through Saturday. With approximately $1,500,000 j worth of surplus goods being offered of-fered exclusively to certified vet- : erans in sales scheduled in Salt : Lake the first week in December I and other large-scale offerings expected ex-pected in the future, interested veterans vet-erans are urged to attend the meeting and to be certified for purcase of available goods in which they are interested. Similar meetings are being held throughout the state as the disposal dis-posal agency carries on a campaign cam-paign to acquaint the veteran with his position under the Surplus Property Act and aid him to ob-I ob-I tain such available surplus items as he may be eligible to purchase. |
