Show I Alpha Beta Club Opens With Social A lovely party of the early autumn au-tumn was the opening social for members of the Alpha Beta club held last Friday afternoon in the form of a bridge-luncheon at the Dixon summer home at Wildwood, Provo canyon. Hostesses at the delightful affair af-fair were Mrs. Maurine Childs, Mrs. Lillian Huntington and Mrs. Ada Krause. After the luncheon for which the tables were gorgeously decorated with roses, asters and other fall flowers, cards were enjoyed and prizes awarded to Mrs. W. W. Clyde and Mrs. Sterling Price. Others attending the party were Mrs. G. Lowry Anderson, Mrs. Charles Boyer, Mrs. W. W. Brock-bank, Brock-bank, Mrs. Earl Condie, Mrs. E. V. Crandall, Mrs. A. LeRoy Erickson, Mrs. G. Ray Hales Mrs. Milton Harrison, Mrs. A". O. Packard, Mrs. H. T. Reynolds Jr., Mrs. Milan Mil-an R. Straw, Mrs. W. L. Schreiner, Mrs. Erwin Sheffield and Mrs. William Witney. During the afternoon, it was announced that the first meeting of the club will be conducted on Friday, Oct. 10, at the home of Mrs. Sterling Price, where Mrs. W. L. Schreiner will present the program pro-gram under the Dept. of Fine Arts. |
