Show JAYCEES PLAN IMPORTANT MEETING TONIGHT Work And Business To Bo Considered In Connection With Rodeo The Jaycees will coaduct a combination com-bination business and work meeting meet-ing this evening at the ball park, announces President E. H. Mortensen Mor-tensen and a full attendance of members is expected. Beginning at 8 p. m., a Dutch lunch will be served and later business taken up under direction of Wallace Patrick, club vicepres-idente vicepres-idente During the evening also work will be. carried on, on the enlargement enlarge-ment of chutes and corrals for the rodeo to be conducted during the Black Hawk. President Morten-sen Morten-sen is hoping that every loyal Jay-cee Jay-cee member will be out this evening. eve-ning. Commenting on the importance of a full membership to assist with the work, the president stated that the club is now on the final drive to make the Junior Chamber's part of the big Black Hawk celebration, cele-bration, a. success. R. H. Richter of Bozeman, Mont., leading rodeo contractor, has assured the local club that the show planned for the Black Hawk rodeo will include only the best stock available together with outstanding out-standing performers. Also a letter received from the American Rodeo Cowboy Association Associa-tion states that members of that organization officially approve Springville's Rodeo and will participate par-ticipate in the contests through the 4-day celebration. A total of $2500 is being offered as prizes during the rodeo which will assure only the best riders in these parts. Mr. Richter states that he will have a number of specialty acts ready for the Springville shows and also that the Rodeo performance perform-ance which is coming to this city will be entirely different from that which his company will produce in Salt Lake City during Pioneer Days. |
