Show SEMPRE MUSICAL CLUB MEMBERS AT SOCIAL The Sempre Musical club, comprising com-prising the piano students of Mrs. Mary S. Boyer, met at her home last Wednesday evning and elected elect-ed officers as follows: President, Lula Jean Holfeltz; Vice-Pjrelsi-dent, Mary Catherine Wills; Secretary, Sec-retary, Delores Rowley. Miss Marilyn Clark gave the life of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Mo-zart. Piano solos were rendered as follows: "Deep River," Folk Song by Colleen Metcalf; "Pilgrims Chorus," Richard Wagner, by Dar-lene Dar-lene Rowley; "Tales of Vienna Woods," Strauss, by Ileen Hunter; Hunt-er; "On The Meadow," Lichner, by Delores Hutchings; "Berceuse", a duet, "Poem," Fibich, by Larsen and Naomi Boyer; "Village Blacksmith," Black-smith," Heins, by Patsy Larabee; "Fairy Wedding," Turner, by Faye Lindsey; "Arkansas Traveler,", Am. Folk Tune, by Ruth Ann Boyer; Boy-er; "Majesty of the Deep," Hamer, Lois Faye TWitchell; "Rondo Ca-priccioso," Ca-priccioso," Mendelssohn by Lula Jean Holfeltz; "Song of the Alps," Ryder, by LaRue Stone; "Argo-naise,," "Argo-naise,," Massenet, and "The Rosary', Ro-sary', Nevin, by Marilyn Clark. Special guests were Mrs. James Lindsey and Mrs. J. M. Hunter. Light refreshments were served to twenty-three members and guests. The next club meeting will be held Wednesday, May 7, at the home of Miss Rae Ann Boyer. |
