Show TALK ON CHINA AT KIWANIS THIS EVENING W. R. Eddington Toastmaster, Mrs. B. F. Krause To Talk And Show Souvenirs Kiwanis club members will hear Mrs. B. F. Krause tell of her experiences ex-periences while living in China, and she will also exhibit a number of interesting souvenirs of that country at the regular meeting scheduled for this evening at Memorial Me-morial hall. W. R. Eddington will be toastmaster, with President J. W.. Grant in charge. Dr. Wesley Lloyd of the B. Y. U. faculty, gave an interesting talk j at the meeting last Thursday on Post War Education. Among other informative statements," he said that boys and girls who seek higher high-er education, should have an analysis an-alysis to determine that for which they are best adapted, and that they should be advised as to their possibilities along certain lines. During the meeting, Eldon Reese, Clifford Crandall and Lyman Ly-man Robbins were welcomed into the club with Glenn Sumsion officiating. offi-ciating. Paul Thorn was toastmaster toastmas-ter for the evening. The musical program included two saxaphone numbers by Carl Crandall and Ted Davis, with Dorothy Dor-othy Cranmer, accompanist. Attending as a special guest was Lt. Melvin Johnson. The attendance at-tendance prize of the evening was presented to Berton Groesbeck. |
