Show MOTORIST MEETS BAD LUCK IN SPRINGVILLE Joseph Harrison, traveling from New York City to the west coast, met with bad luck in Springville where he was forced to remain a few days following an automobile accident last Thursday. The accident occurred just south of the intersection at Fourth South and Main street when King crashed into an ice cream truck driven by A. L. Cox of Provo, as Cox attempted at-tempted to turn across the street into a service station. The truck was turned over. When Kivg was given a ticket by Police Chief H. M. Weight for traveling too fast under prevailing conditions he refused to sign it and was taken before Judge Wayne Johnson, to whom he plead not guilty. Judge Johnson set his trial for August 1, and he was released on $100 bond. |
