Show raut lHKr.c orientation meeting will be held for those new students at which time the registration procedure will be explained. Dr. Arden Frandsen, chairman of the guidance and personnel committee, reports that the guidance guid-ance service for all students will begin on registration day and for those students who may desire it, pro-registration guidance will be available from September 1 to September 2 6. Dr. Frandsen's committee, working in cooperation with Joseph R. Jensen and he social affairs committee and student stud-ent body officers, has arranged an interesting program for the two days which combines both guidance guid-ance and social features. !U. S. A. C. OPENS FOR YEAR NEXT FRIDAY Logan Utah State Agricultural Agricult-ural college, will open for the fall quarter of the 1940-41 college year with the registration on Friday Fri-day and Saturday, September 27 and 28, it was announced by the President's office. Registration officials have completed com-pleted the ulans to provide the new and sophomore students with faculty advisers to aid in the selection of a course of study, and major professors will be available during the registration period for the junior and cenior students. On Friday, September 2 7, the first registration day, all students who are attending the college for the first time, including freshmen fresh-men and transfer students from other institutions, will register.
