FORK TEAM Springville high school's grid-Iron grid-Iron prospects for the remainder ot the season look much brighter after the 14 to 7 upset of American Ameri-can Fork last Friday at American Ameri-can Fork, than they did the previous pre-vious week when the Devils took It on the chin from Lincoln here on the home field. In Friday's game at American Fork, the Red Devils showed pow- er in overtaking the leading " Cavemen to win in the third and j final Quarters. American Fork scored in the'second quarter on a blocked kick which landed on the Red Devils' own 15-yard line. Ellison Elli-son skirted an end run to tally the initial 6 points. Holmstead dropkicked the extra point. In the third quarter of the lame, Gividen, shitty halfback, lotercepted an American Fork pass near the midfield and raced to the five-yard marker before being run out-of-bounds. Watts rat over for the touchdown and I Stone bucked the line for the dtra point. , With an 84-yard sustained drive la the final quarter, which netted 1 ! points, Springville showed plen- ; ly ot power in backfield running and line plays.
