Show R. DELOS OAKLEY SERVICES HELD INTHIRD WARD Friends and relatives paid final tributes to Richard Delos Oakley at funeral services conducted in the Third ward chapel Sunday afternoon. af-ternoon. Mr. Oakley died Thursday, Thurs-day, at the family residence, following fol-lowing several weeks' illness. Burial was in the Evergreen cemetery, directed by A. Y. Wheeler Wheel-er and Son mortuary. He was born in Springville, September Sep-tember 13, 1871, a son of James and Fannie Palfreyman Oakley, and had lived here practically his entire life. He followed farming for many years, retiring several years agHe married Minnie Croft, June 20, 1892, at Provo. Surviving, besides his widow, are six sons and daughters, Mrs. Delta Faddis, Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs Minnie Willard, Provo; Mrs. Vera Karras, Salt Lake City; Arthur Ar-thur D., Mark L. and Mrs. Edna Boyer of Springville; fifteen grandchildren grand-children and one great-grandchild. |
