Show Freebairn, Cherrington Nuptial Plans Revealed Mr. and Mrs. Bryant S. Hinckley Hinck-ley of Salt Lake City wish to announce an-nounce the engagement of their niece. Virginia Freebairn, also of Salt Lake City,-to Jack A. Cher-rington, Cher-rington, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. ff. Cherrington of Springville. The young couple will be married mar-ried in the Salt Lake temple Tuesday, Tues-day, December 17. Following the marriage a reception honoring the young couple will be given in the Lion House at Salt Lake City. Other social functions honoring the bride-to-be are also planned. Miss Freebairn is a graduate of Granite high school and the University of Utah, and Mr. Cherrington Cher-rington is a graduate of the Springville high school and the U. S. A. C. at Logan. Both have filled missions in the Central States. Following the marriage the young couple will make their home in Springville. ALPHA BETA CLUB ENTERTAINED FRIDAY Mrs. G. G. Neill was hostess to members of the Alpha Beta club at her home Friday, December 6, beginning at 3 p. m. A short paper on "Rio de Janeiro" was given by Mrs. Chas. Boyer and Mrs. Leslie H. Corna-by Corna-by gave a talk on "American Citi- A"E DELMA GLUB ENTERTALYED THURSDAY Members of the Ave Delma club were delightfully entertained at the home of Mrs. Lyman Robbins Thursday. Seated at one long table, guests were served a delicious pot luck luncheon in the early evening. Favors and table decorations were according to the Christmas motif. Later bridge was played, with prizes going to Bertie Thorpe and Inez Chader. Present were Dolly Smith, Carrie Car-rie Jolley, Norma Noe, Coe Straw, Gladys Averett, Bernice Packard, Alice Ence, and Gwen Cutler. Elsie El-sie Robertson was a special guest. FIREMEN'S AUXILIARY ENTERTAINED THURSDAY At a meeting in the Fire Hall Thursday, members of the Ladies' Firemen's Auxiliary were entertained. enter-tained. Cards were played, with prizes going to Mrs. Elavee Hutchinsen, first, and to Mrs. Susie Allen, consolation.
