Show HARRIETWIGNALL SERVICES HELD Honoring Mrs. Harriet Burt Wignall, 88, one of the oldest pioneer pio-neer residents of Springville, who died Thursday at 4 p. m., services ser-vices were held Sunday at 12 noon, in the first ward. A daughter of Thomas A. Burt and Annie Ford Burt, she was born October 5, 1852, in Dley, Gloucestershire, England. She left England for America at the age of ten, taking six weeks to cross the Atlantic ocean. She came by way of rail and boat from New York to Omaha, and from Omaha she traveled by ox-team, walking most of the way to Salt Lake City. She had lived in Springville for the past 60 years. On July 7, 1872, she was married mar-ried to James Wignall in Payson. Survivors included the following follow-ing sons and daughters: Ernest Wignall of Salt Lake City; Chas. Wignall, Provo; Mrs. Ella Hatch, Provo; Hattie Allan, Maggie Daley, Da-ley, and Grace Averett, Springville; Spring-ville; two brothers, Frank Burt of Rigby, Idaho, and Arthur Burt of Alberta, Canada; and a sister, Mary Crammer, Springville; 40 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren. .
