Show o j Hello Daddy KSSS "i .. .. ;..,''l"v' -X-.y iliiis iilllif MmSM&wkX I VICKY JILL GREENWOOD I suppose I am more fortunate than most of my little friends in Springville because I can see my daddy nearly every day. You see, when I was only two months old, I went with my mother to stay with daddy at Providence, R. I., and we've tried to stay with him ever since. When I left Springville I wasn't big like I am now and I couldn't walk and sing so well. Now I am fifteen months old and live in Norfolk, Nor-folk, Va., at the Naval Reservation, and my mother, Mrs. Fern Sim-kins Sim-kins Greenwood, often takes me to the playground to swing with the little sailorettes. My daddy is Morgan Greenwood, an athletic specialist in the Navy. Every day he says he would like the folks back home to see me. Grandma and Grandpa Simkins must be very lonesome with Uncle Max in the Army and Aunt Virginia in the Navy. Aunt Virginia stayed with us last week and so she is the only relative I know. She really likes my blonde curly hair and dark blue eyes, and if she stayed longer I might have been spoiled. I danced and sang for her. My mother says perhaps it won't be very long before we can all go home again to see the folks in Springville, and to visit my other grandparents in Nephi. |
