Show lief Society Gives Party For Teachers Approximately 60 Relief society workers were in attendance' at a party on Friday evening in the First ward, given by the organization organiza-tion executive officers complimenting compliment-ing the visiting teachers. Mrs. Hilda Cherrington, counselor, was in charge of the program. Featuring the entertainment, Clyde Stone gave two vocal selections; selec-tions; Mrs. Zelma Beardall welcomed wel-comed the group; Mrs. Vera Zo-bell Zo-bell of Twin Falls, Idaho, gave two vocal numbers; Mrs. Mae Huntington Hun-tington reviewed the book, "Spring Came On Forever," and Lois Rig-trup Rig-trup gave a reading. Mrs. Minerva Weight, secretary, gave a short talk on appreciation of the work of the visiting teachers. The invocation invo-cation was offered by Mrs. Alice Davis, counselor. At the conclusion of the party, refreshments suggestive of Hallowe'en Hal-lowe'en were served and during the serving Mrs. Flossie Sanford entertained en-tertained with a clever reading and game. A PARTY WELL BE GIVEN OCTOBER 29 by the Third ward M. I. A. for all ward members of Mutual age. The entertainment will begin at 7:30 p. m., and there will be plenty of refreshments for everyone. All are invited. |
