Show VISITORS Here and There Mr. and Mrs. Joe Miller and baby daughter, Nancy, returned from Emery the past week to reside re-side here indefinitely. Mr. and Mrs. Louis A. Johnson of Cedar City, visited the former's for-mer's mother, Mrs. L. E. Harmer, at Mapleton, and other relatives and friends here over the week-end. Mrs. Olive Fage of Lindon, Mrs. Evelyn Taylor of Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Bell Jones of Midvale, were in Springville early this week because of the death of their father, fa-ther, Walter Bird. Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Greenwood (Fern Simkins) of Afton, Wyo., are spending the Thanksgiving holidays with Mrs. Greenwood's parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Sim-kins, Sim-kins, and other relatives and friends. Fred Roylance, son of Mr. and Mrs. Austin Roylance, Gene Bird, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Emmett Bird, Russell Laney, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. C. Laney, and Wells Bring-hurst, Bring-hurst, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Bringhurst, are among the Camp San Luis Obispo boys spending a few days furlough in Springville. Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Weight spent one day of the past week with relatives in Salt Lake City. m Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Hulbert and daughter, Eldene, of Sacramento, Calif., are spending the Thanksgiving Thanksgiv-ing holidays with Mr. and Mrs. Dell Humphrey. Prior to coming to Springville, they were entertained entertain-ed extensively in Salt Lake City. Mrs. G. D. Kennedy and daughters, daugh-ters, Edna and Glenna, spent the week-end with their husband and father at Mt. Pleasant. Lawrence and Maxine Cox Stub-blefield Stub-blefield announce the birth of a daughter at the Holy Cross hospital, hos-pital, Salt Lake City, November 14. The new arrival is a granddaughter grand-daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Cox. Mr. and Mrs. D. Ford Crandall and twins, Elwood and Colleen, of Boise, Ida., spent Saturday as guests of Mr. Crandall's parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. A. Crandall. Later Mr. Crandall attended a convention in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Eddington spent a few days of the past week in California. Keith Kennedy is spending a few days' furlough from Camp San Luis Obispo, Calif., with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. D. Kennedy. Ken-nedy. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Pinkerton of this city have returned to their home following a two weeks' trip which took them through Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. |
