Show nPLETON D. U. P. ;T CHRISTMAS PARTY A delightful evening was spent Thursday by members of the Map-Vton Map-Vton camp D. U. P. when they iot entertained at the home of Sirs. Mary s- 'Whiting, at a Christ-as Christ-as program and social in con--eetion with their regular meet- Mrs. Eva Bird, camp captain, ras in charge. The camp lesson was given by 5!rs. Ida B. Whiting and as an in-jwiuctory, in-jwiuctory, Captain Bird gave a Christmas reading. A group com-pesed com-pesed of Mrs. Olive Whiting, Mrs. Pearl Holley, Mrs. Senate Menden-hall, Menden-hall, Mrs. Zina Dibble, Mrs. Martha Mar-tha Houtz, Mrs. Hattie . Jensen and Mrs. Eva Bird, gave Christmas Christ-mas songs, accompanied by Mrs. N'orma B. Cox. Mrs. Olive Whiting also gave a lovely Christmas story. Christmas gifts were exchanged and in conclusion, tasty refresh-cents refresh-cents were served to approximately approxi-mately thirty-five camp members. Hostesses for the occasion were, Sirs. Mary Whiting, Mrs. Henrietta Henri-etta Harmer, Mrs. Arlene Holley, Mrs. Pearl Holley. Lovely, holiday decorations added add-ed to the spirit of the social. The iming table was covered writh a beautiful hand-made lace cloth, centered with tall Christmas can-lies. |
