Show HYRUM B. PERRY OBSERVES 82nd BIRTHDAY Hyrum B. Perry, prominent Ma-pleton Ma-pleton farmer, observed his 82nd birthday Wednesday at his home.' Mr. Perry is prominent in civic and church affairs in this community. com-munity. He was born in Springville, Spring-ville, a son sf Stephen C. and Mary Boggs Perry. He moved to Maple-ton Maple-ton in 1885, residing there since. He was chairman of the old folks' committee for 18 years and was one of the first school trustees from the Mapleton district. During his early life he did considerable railroad construction work. He filled two missions, one in 1909 and another in 1918. During his later years, he has farmed and is still doing considerable work in spite of his years. His wife, Mrs. Luella R. Perry, whom he married March 13, 1884, died five years ago. He has a daughter, Mrs. Reva Curtis of Ne-phi, Ne-phi, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. |
