Irwlev of the Seventeenth ward, Sa Lake City, uncle of the eroom, in the presence of immediate imme-diate members of the two families. The bride chose white brocaded atin for her wedding gown. Her veil was of bride's illusion edged " with silk lace and fashioned to a wreath of gardenias. Her bouquet was of gardenias and yellow rose- buds with sain ribbon ties Attending te bride were Louise " Clyde Helen Christensen, Lena Carne'secca, Marjorie Simkins, Lucille Oaklev, Luella Huntington, Doris Wing, Kathleen M. Mendenhall Menden-hall Veon Bird, Phyllis B. John-S9n' John-S9n' and Cecelia Maycock as ' bridesmaids. They were attired m . I pink and blue formals of similar design and held colonial bouquets of rosebuds md sweetpeas .in corresponding cor-responding colors. C. Rue Allred of Spanish Fork, brother of the groom, was best man. Immediately after the ceremony, ceremo-ny, the couple was honored with a reception in the Fourth ward amusement hall, which about 300 relatives and friends attended. The guests were received by the rents of the bride and groom and members of the bridal party. Mrs. Allred, mother of the groom, was attired in a black and white Oil formal with corsage of red and white rosebuds and Mrs. Brown, in beige, with corsage of orchid sweetpeas and bronze rosebuds. The evening was featured by a 1 program, including string music 111 by Mrs. Lewis Bird and Luella Huntington, accompanied by Mrs. h Lloyd Bird; vocal numbers by Mrs. F. J. Faux, Leah Webb and Nelda Christensen of Spanish Fork, Kay. Weight, Catherine Martndale, Mrs. Edna Thorpe, 11i Mrs. Eva Loveridge, Harrison Con-L Con-L over, of Springville; Veloy Singleton, Sin-gleton, Provo; dance numbers by Alice Louise Mecham of Provo; h Jean and June Dixon of Spanish Fork; instrumental selections by V, Russell Hales, Springville; Kent j( and June Larsen, Spanish Fork; ' reading, Mrs. Preston Hughies, Spanish Fork; piano solo, Norman Dunn, Springville. In the gift room were Mrs. E. J. Murrey of Salt Lake City; Mrs. C. Rue Allred and Mrs. Charles 7 Wood, Spanish Fork; Mrs. Bert Brown, Mrs. Russen Bird and Mrs. Dean Bird, Springville. The serving table held a center- f piece of yellow and white snapdragons snap-dragons with tall white tapers in crystal holders at either end. A color scheme of yellow and white was carried out in decorations throughout the entertaining rooms and in refreshments. Yellow and wn'te daisies were on the mantle and tall white tapers in yellow candlebra burred in the reception hall. The couple are at home at 551 )CNrth Se0nd Street' Provo- |
