Show COOK FAMILY HOLDS ANNUAL REUNION Descendants of David Cook, early Utah pioneer who came from Canada, met in reunion at Park Ro-She Sunday afternoon. Relatives from Nevada and all sections of Utah attended. Officers of the family organization organiza-tion were elected during the afternoon, af-ternoon, with James Cook of Benjamin Ben-jamin selected as president; Mrs. Francetta Sampson, Delta, vice-president; vice-president; Mrs. Olive Miller, of Springville, secretary. Named to represent the families in Utah county was Jerome Cook of Springville. Mrs. Sampson will represent Millard county and Mrs. Nora Chappell, Wayne county. It was the first annual reunion and more than 100 descendants attended. The entertainment consisted con-sisted of a program, picnic lunch-es, lunch-es, and swimming. |
