Show VISITORS Here and There Mr. and Mrs. LaVaun Garnlck, Miss Ethel Garnlck, A. W. Spencer, and Mrs. Joseph Robinson of Los Angeles; Mr. and Mrs. Leo Eilers, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Robertson, and A. L. Abbey of Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Martha Hill of Castle Gate, were among the out-of-town visitors visit-ors in Springville during the past week, coming especially to attend the wedding of Mr. and Mrs. Walt Zobell (the former Winifred Gar-nick.) Gar-nick.) Miss Margaret Pelrce has returned re-turned from a vacation trip to California, Cali-fornia, where she visited Los Angeles, An-geles, San Luis Obispo, and other places of interest. Mr. and Mrs. Jessie Taylor of El Paso, Texas, have returned home after visiting relatives In Springville. Spring-ville. They were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Conover over the week-end. Mrs. Thomas C. Hanley and daughter, Eileen, and son, J. Lewis, all of Ogden, were dinner guests of Mrs. Hanley's daughter, Mrs. Lester E. Davis, and family Sunday. Mrs. Mae Fletcher, Merle and Reed Fletcher, were visitors in Logan recently, going especially to attend commencement exercises. Mr. and Mrs. Dea Miner and son, Reed, have just returned from a trip to Reno and the northwest, where they visited with Mr. and Mrs. Lee Miner. They also attended attend-ed the funeral services for Mrs. Miner's brother, Reed Reynolds, at Tillamook, Oregon. At Portland they visited with Mr. and Mrs. Jack Winfield and Mr. and Mrs. Jess Reynolds. Mrs. D. O. Ashcraft, with her son, Ruel, returned Sunday from San Francisco, where they had been visiting. Mr. Ashcraft will visit here with friends and relatives rela-tives until June 15, when he will return to San Francisco. Mrs. Thelma Clark and daughter, daugh-ter, Marilyn, left the past week to spend the summer with her husband, hus-band, who is on construction work In Idaho. Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Sumsion of Chester, visited friends and relatives rel-atives in Springville during the past week-end. Mrs. R. W. McTavish of Salt Lake City spent the week-end at Springville. She plans to leave soon for Oakland, California, where she will make her home with her son, James S. Blain, at 3645 Verdin avenue. ave-nue. Vern Lee Davis has returned to Firth, Idaho, where he is teaching summer music. He has been spending spend-ing some time visiting with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Davis. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Peterson returned Sunday from a trip to southern California. They went especially to attend the wedding of Florence Stevens and Sterling Strate, the latter past student body president of Brigham Young university. |
