Show Springville Herald to Give 25 Boys Free Trip to Yellowstone Park Twenty-five boys may this summer sum-mer be awarded a trip to Yellowstone Yellow-stone National park, the world renowned "Magic Yellowstone" tucked away in the northwest corner of the far-flung state of Wyoming. There can be found the greatest conglomeration of hot water phenomena in the world . . . gigantic geysers hundreds of feet high, busily boiling springs, acres of hot bubbling mud, steaming bottomless pools, crystal-clear ice-fed ice-fed lakes, and a thousand and one other weird, prankish manifestations manifesta-tions of nature. Greatest of all examples of what Yellowstone's educated waters really real-ly can do when they quit fooling and get right down to business, is "Old Faithful," the world's most famous geyser. Probably the supreme su-preme spectacle of the entire park is the awe-inspiring magnificence of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone Yel-lowstone river. At the head of this thousand-foot gorge is the snow-white snow-white cascade of the Great Falls, twice as high as Niagara. Some Springville boy will also have the opportunity of winning a new Iver-Johnson bicycle in ad dition to his trip to Yellowstone. Here's how these grand prizes can be won: The Springville Herald is sponsoring a subscription contest con-test and giving as the awards twenty-five free all-expense-paid trips to Yellowstone, and the bicycle. bi-cycle. The bicycle will be given to the boy with the most points on July 31, when the contest closes, and the twenty-five free trips to the park will be given to the 25 highest high-est boys with 1,000 points or more. Points will be given to the boys for soliciting subscriptions fo the Springville Herald, with 100 points being given for each new one-year subscription collected at $2 per year, and 60 points for each year collected as a renewal. Boys 12 years of age or over may register at the Herald office and receive official receipt books. Subscribers should not pay any boy money for soliciting subscriptions subscrip-tions unless he has official receipt books and makes you out a receipt, for your payment. Those who do not have enough points to go to Yellowstone will be allowed to turn in their points for scout equipment or other prizes. |
