Show CAMP SPRING CREEK D. U. P. MET THURSDAY afternoon at the home of Mrs. Grace McKenzie, with Captain Christie Lee in charge of the program. ine mstory or Oscar M. Mower, early pioneer of this city, was given giv-en by a daughter, Mrs. Ella Cra-gun, Cra-gun, and the lesson on "Utah Pioneers Pi-oneers are Honored by the D.U.P.," was given by Mrs. Anna Johnson. Both proved especially interesting. Mrs. Edith M. Powell, county captain, attended the meeting and complimented the camp on their fine organization and the progress they were making. In a short talk she urged that histories.be in by March 15. She also asked members mem-bers to sign her memory book. Two new members were welcomed wel-comed into the camp during the afternoon, Mrs. Crystal Poulson and Mrs. Eliza Packard Taylor. At the close of the meeting, refreshments re-freshments were served to 30 camp members. Hostesses for this occasion were Mrs. Christie Lee, Mrs. LaPreal Friel, Mrs. Agnes Laney, Mrs. Sadie Bate, Mrs. Kate Mower, and Mrs. McKenzie. |
