Springville Will Be Home for New Mr. and Mrs. Jay Beck, Wed Dec. 10 Honeymooning in Las Vegas, Nev., are popular newlyweds Mr. and Mrs. Jay Beck, whose marriage was an event of Saturday, December 10, taking place in an impressive ceremony at the$ home of the bride's parents in Provo. The lovely young bride, formerly Miss Joan Clark, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Don E. Clark, and Jay's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Lester Beck of Springville. The wedding ceremony was performed per-formed by Bishop Wayne B. Hales of the Provo University ward, with close friends and immediate family fam-ily members in attendance. For her wedding, the bride chose a lovely biege knit suit enhanced with a small collar of angora and brown accessories and a white orchid or-chid pinned to her shoulder. She was attended by her twin sister, Miss Jean Clark and a close friend, Miss Karen Sperry. They wore identical dresses of rose and blue embossed taffetta with corsages cor-sages of lavendar baby orchids. Best man to the groom was his brother Jerry Beck. Standing also with the bride and groom were their parents, Mrs. Clark being attired in a blue crepe dress and Mrs.- Beck in gold color. Their corsages were of gardenias and carnations. The new Mrs. Beck is a former student of the Provo high school where she was active in a'capella choir and orchestra and has also taken active part in the University LDS ward. . Jay a graduate of Springville high school, is presently employed in this city, where the couple will make their home. Several social functions are planned plan-ned in their honor including a shower by Jean Clark and Karen Sperry Wednesday evening and an open house in the near future. |
