The Springville high school alumni will entertain the high school graduates at a breakfast Friday in the high school. Alumni may make reservations with Leo Crundall or Virginia Simkins. Nelson Eeal, 41, prominent dentist den-tist and civic worker, died at 9 p.m. of a cerebral hemorhage at a Salt Lake City hospital. He had been in ill health several weeks following an attack of influenza. Mr. and Mrs. Erling Roylance announce the birth of a daughter Tuesday at the Crane Maternity Home. Funeral services were conducted Monday for George L. McKenzie, 78, well known Springville resident resi-dent who died Saturday, "Utah Hills" by Gordon Cope of Salt Lake City; "Side Sea" by Jay Connaway of New York City, "Marigolds and Cosmos" by H. Dudley Murphey of Lexington, Mass., were unveiled as purchase pictures at the closing art program Friday. 20 YEARS AGO ... Settling a dispute among citizens citi-zens who favored removal of the old Cottonwood on North -Main street and those wishing to preserve pre-serve it, Mayor J. W. Whiting stated sta-ted that the tree will be saved and made more beautiful, if possible. Parker, underwent an operation , for appendicitis this week. Mrs. Sadie Packard came from Bingham to spend the week with relatives and friends in Springville. Miss Virginia Whittacker entertained enter-tained for members of the BYU Lamba Tau club at a party at the home of Mrs. Sterling Taylor Saturday Sat-urday evening. About 125 guests attended. , The Springville club ladies gave a reception for other club ladies of the state in the art building last Thursday afternoon.
