Show Jefferson Elects ' Hew Officers MPTA Meeting Champ Allan was elected and installed in-stalled president of the Jefferson School PTA at the annual meeting on Wednesday eevning of last weke. To serve with him next school year will be: Mrs. Thomas Albino, first vice-president; Wendell Wen-dell Nielson, second vice president; Mrs. Jeff Miner, secretary-treasurer; Mrs. Barbara Brown, program chairman; Mrs. Leonard Harward, nomination chairman. Installation was in charge of Clarence Deeben, PTA council president. Allan Johnson was the speaker of the evening. Prayers were by Mrs. William Fullmer and Otto Collings. Mrs. Lee Miner, retiring president, was in charge of the meeting. During the eevning's program, the morning kindergarten class dramatized the "Little Red Hen" and the afternoon kindergarten class gave poems and danced "I Love You Truly", for the parents. Mrs. M. N. Moon, kindergarten teacher, was assisted hv Miss An- derson, teacher tranee from .BYU. The kindergarten won the prize for having the most parents present. Mrs. Miner noted the installation of the jungle gym this year which was the PTA project last year and presented Mr. Nielson with a check for $130 for this year's project, pro-ject, the school library. Mrs. Miner also thanked the teachers and PTA officers assisting her this year. Officers were: Mrs. Thomas Al-bano, Al-bano, 1st vice president; Wendell Nielson, 2nd vice president; Mrs. Jeff Miner, secretary - treasurer; Mrs. Marcus Johnson, program chairman; Mrs. Samuel B. Nissley, historian and publicity; Mrs. Blaine Johnson, adult education and nominating; nom-inating; Mrs. Ellen Anderson, membership; Mrs. Max Murray, music; Mrs. George Bird, project; Mrs. Dee Adams, publications and Mrs. Lawrence Rowland, room representative. |
