Hunters Bag Big Buck on Hunt Jess Barton bagged one of the largest deer in the past deer hunt when he got a nine pointer with a 31 inch spread in Wanroads valley near Molly's Nipple. In company with a party of five others, Barton killed the big buck from his jeep from about 600 yards away. The party had just pulled into the area around a.m. when they spotted the buck and brought it down. It weighed 217 lbs. according to Jess Barton. Included in the hunting party all of whom got their deer, were Jess Barton, Dick Low, Max Allan, Al-lan, Keith Snelson, Blaine Van Patten and Dan Barton.
