Wingate Arnold Roylance Springviile Candidates From Both Parties Successful a . - Six SpringviUe candidates, three Republicans and three on the Democratic ticket were, successful in the Tuesday election which placed Wm. A. Dawson as representative in Congress f rom3 the Second district, over his Democratic Dem-ocratic opponent Reva Beck Bo-sone. Bo-sone. Grant Thorn on the Republican ticket for the position of state senator was among the winning candidates together with Luke Clegg, also a Republican running for state senator. It will be a second sec-ond term for each. Harrison Conover on the Republican Repub-lican ticket for state representative representa-tive from the Fourth District, won over his Democratic opponent, Mrs. Mary Holdaway Pritchett. It will be his second term. Other Springviile candidates who won their respective posts are Maurice Bird, who was re-elected as Utah county treasurer on the Republican ticket over his opponent oppon-ent Harold S. Walker on the Democratic Demo-cratic ticket? Theron S. Hall, on the Democratic ticket won his office of-fice against Raymond Taylor on the Republican ticket. Arnold Roylance, , Utah county attorney on the Democratic ticket, was re-elected to the position over Republican Jackson B. Howard, also of Springviile. J- F. Wingate running for Springviile precinct justice of the Peace against George Wilson, Republican, Re-publican, was re-elected. Norris Binks was elected Mapleton Maple-ton City justice of the peace over Ray Scovil. There were three names written writ-ten in for the office of precinct constable.
