Show Camp Aaron Johnson DUP Holds April Meeting Camp Aaron Johnson DUP held their April meeting at the home of Mrs. Clara Childs. Captain Thora JDalley, vice-captain vice-captain Vida Shephard, and Chaplain Chap-lain Eudora Jensen reported on the DUP convention held at Salt Lake City April 4, Camilla Judd read the history of her mother, Martha Alice Woodbury and gave a poem which she had written in memory of - her mpther, entitled "Her Things." Classleader Leona Hales gave the lesson, Dancing a Pioneer Recreation, Re-creation, and some of the" older daughters, Dora Crandall, Selena Kelsey, Ada C. Harrison and Delia Harris told about dancing, in this city when it was first settled. Margaret Mar-garet Miner told of wood being hauled across the lake to heat the dance hall.'" ... Hazel Johnson of Spanish Fork entertained with songs and guitar accompaniment. Hostesses were Mae Smith, Ellen El-len Walker, Annie Wheeler, v and Selena Kelsey. Mary Anderson, Ellen Sessions and Maude Bunce were special guests. |
