Show Newlyweds Mr., Mrs. Kenneth Jensen Honored at Mapleton Reception Charming and informal was the wedding reception of Miss Hannah Han-nah Bee Mendenhall, lovely daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Aaron B. Mendenhall Men-denhall of Mapleton and Kenneth Jensen of Cleveland, Utah. The lawns and gardens ' were beautifully beauti-fully lighted for the occasion. The bride chose to wear an attractive afternoon dress in pink nylon. Mrs. Mendenhall, mother of the bride, wore a teal blue linen suit, while Mrs. Jensen, mother of the groom choose an afternoon dress in shear print. Asissting Mrs. Mendenhall in planning the wedding reception were her daughter Mrs. Gwen Hehr and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Fern Mendenhall of Salt Lake City. Joseph Mendenhall of Salt Lake City, an uncle of the bride was master of ceremonies. Assisting Assist-ing with the gifts were Mrs. Sadie Whiting and Mrs. Bird Neilson while Mrs.' Pearl Holley, Gladys Parry and Alberta Aikin were in charge of the serving. The following follow-ing girls helped with the serving: Doris Ann Hales and Thera Lou Jensen. Those who furnished entertain ment for the guests were: Two numbers from a male chorus chor-us . consisting of cousins of the bride, accordian selections were given by Val Jensen, nephew of the groom, vocal duet by Mrs. Aretha Jensen and Mrs. Agnes Jensen, sisters-in-law of the groom, and a vocal duet by the Mrs. Lenore Measom and Verda Aucket'of Lake Shore. Many were the friends and relatives rela-tives who attended the wedding. A very, good representation of the fellow workers of the geneological library in Salt Lake City were present who had previously given a party for the bride in the library at Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Jensen are making their home in Bountiful. Mrs. Thelma Carter with her father Myron A. Boyer and Miss Mary Boyer spent an enjoyable time last 'tek visiting with Wayne Biyer, a brother o Mr. Boyer and other relatives and friends in Arco, Idaho. They a so spent a day at Sun Valley, returning re-turning Friday of last woek. |
