Apparently the anticipated compensation com-pensation was worth the risk, so the maD opened the door of the tage and entered Linkletter stated offstage to let the cats in and two tiny kittens trotted across the floor of the iron-barred enclosure A good trick, but e've often wondered how the (entleman would have reacted had the real lions been let in . . Unfortunately, we'll never know. FLATTER CHATTER ' CAPITOL: Tex Ritter's latest is "The Long Black Rifle". . It's backed by "Let Me Go, Devil" "I Still Dream of You" is given i toe rendition by Gordon MacRae ho always does a good job but seems to be the least appreciated sineer in the business where the Jackpot tunes are concerned . Georgia k'r's latest disc is a good one, "Lonely" with "Wasted Tears" on to flip side Frances Faye does a good job with "Hey, Mister" Reverse has "Sorry Baby!" Dt Dickerson does a good job with "One Night Stand" . "Dear Love" backs it . For life t0 a partyi J Fingers Carr's rendition of that U favorite, "Collegiate" "The M Called Reilly" backs it |
