Immediate family members and close friends of the couple were in attendance. The bridal couple stood before a background of fern and multicolored multi-colored gladioli as they exchanged marriage vows. Attendants included Merry Met-calf, Met-calf, maid of honor and Merrilyn Wight, a sister of the bride, as bridesmaid, with Don Kimball performing per-forming best man duties for the benedict. The bride chose a becoming street-length frock of white lace with simple round neckline and cap sleeves. She added an orchid corsage. Miss Metcalf chose a creme-colored linen, street-length model while Merrilyn wore light blue lace. Parents of the new bride, Mr. and Mrs. Ross D. Wight, entertained enter-tained immediately following the marriage at a reception held in the garden at their home. They were assisted in receiving by Mr. and Mrs. Claude lorg of Upalco, Duchesne Duch-esne county, parents of the bridegroom. bride-groom. Mrs. Wight wore a light beige summer suit and Mrs. lorg wore black crepe. Each added corsages cor-sages of pink carnations and miniature min-iature lilies in orchid. Guest enjoyed seeing the ornamented orna-mented wedding cake which was flanked by pink and white candles on the serving table and the gifts which were arranged by members of the famliy. The refreshments were served by Carol Francis and Mary Lou Whiting. |
