Francis, son of Mrs. Barbara Bar-bara Francis, will return Saturday Satur-day from the California LDS mission, mis-sion, where he has spent the past two years and will be the speaker at the welcome-home program in his honor, Sunday evening in the Fifth ward. . The meeting will begin at 5:30 p m., and an invitation is extended to all members of the ward and friends. Elder Francis has labored in Brawley, Calif., much of the time but has recently been located in Long Beach. His mother and his sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Milo Madsen of Boise, Ida., gave him a pre-welcome home, when they met him in California last week. They planned to tour California going as far north as San Francisco, Fran-cisco, Calif., before returning home. Robert Holley A welcome home program will be held in the Mapleton ward Sunday Sun-day evening in honor of Robert Holley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Holley, who has just returned from a two-year LDS mission in the Hawaiian Islands. Elder Holley Hol-ley will be the principal speaker during the evening and ward members mem-bers and friends are invited. The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m., in the Mapleton ward chapel. Elder Holley was accompanied accom-panied home by his parents, who went to Honolulu to meet him. |
