Show Record Attendance Anticipated At Kolob Stake Conference Apostle Henry D. Moyle, Mark D. Graff To Represent General Authorities; 12 Returned Missionaries To Report Kolob stake quarterly conference will convene in the Springville Fourth-Seventh ward chapel Saturday evening and Sunday, announces President Ernest A. anticipated. It had been the hope of stake officials to hold this quarterly conference con-ference in the new stake house, but it was not sufficiently completed at this time. Every effort is being made, however, to have the building build-ing ready for the next quarterly meet. Speakers Apostle Henry D. Moyle of the Council of Twelve and Mark D. Garff, representing the general church welfare committee, will be present to address the various sessions ses-sions of the quartely conference. A welfare meeting is to be held at 6:30 p.m., Saturday for all stake and ward welfare workers and Priesthood members concerned. Following the welfare meeting, a Priesthood leadership meeting will be held, commencing at 8 o'clock. General sessions on Sunday will be at 10 a.m., and at 2 p.m., and the concluding meeting will be under the direction of the stake MIA, at 7:30 p.m. A special feature of this quarterly quart-erly conference will be the reports by 12 missionaries who have returned re-turned to their homes in Springville Spring-ville since the last quarterly conference con-ference three months ago. They are: Keith Dalton, First ward; Robert Dalton, Reeda Bjarnson, 2nd ward; Calvin Packard, Serge Huff, Fred Hill, Third ward; Owen Sumsion, Robert Sumsion and lone Lewis, Fourth ward; Farlin Wood, Mrs. Betty Wood, Seventh ward and Glen Alleman of the Eighth ward. Sunday Night MIA. Meeting The services Sunday evening presented by the MIA will be in the form of a pageant portraying the MIA theme, "Learn Wisdom In Thy Youth; Yea Learn In Thy Youth To Keep The Commandments Command-ments of God." Russell Hales will be narrator in the pageant and Richard Sumsion will represent "Youth." In the family group are: John Stark, Mae Groesbeck, Jerry Thorn and Esther Rae Young. 'Taking part in the panel group are: Richard Sumsion.Leland Ford, Lula Jean Holfeltz and Marva Davis. Sam Roberts will take the part of Alma; Ardean Childs, Hela-man Hela-man and Jerrol Boyer, Paul. Music will be furnished by the Boy Scouts under the direction of LaRell Johnson and by the Beehive Bee-hive Girls directed by Mrs. Elda Jensen, accompanied by Mrs. Julia Sumsion. The concluding number will be a vocal solo by Farlin Wood, entitled, en-titled, "Enough To Know." |
