Show Ladies Literary Club Hears Music, Program . Mrs. H. B. Mensel of Provo gave short sketches of the life of Utah County musicians at the meeting of the Ladies Literary Club held Thursday eevning at the home of Mrs. F. C. Packard- In connection with her talk, Mrs. Mensel presented several Utah county musicians including Miss Snyder, who sang, "The Wind Is Like a Lion and I Wonder Why." She was accompanied by Miss Marguerite Mar-guerite Jepperson. David Dalton, who was recently made concert mas'ter of the Brig-ham Brig-ham Young University Symphony orchestra, initiated a brand new violin with the Allegro movement from Sonota No. 1 by Handel, He was accompanied by Miss Alice Erickson. A group of ladies from Provo entertained with vocal numbers num-bers accompanied by Miss Jepperson. Jepper-son. The program was preceded with lunch served to twenty-two club, members. Mrs. Claude Smith was in charge of the meeting and conducted a short business session. |
