Show Paris Passu Club Celebrates 12th Birthday The Pari Passu club celebrated the 12th anniversary of their organization or-ganization in special birthday ceremonies cer-emonies held at the home of Beth Miller. Miss Cora Lee Johnson and Mrs. James Livsey were co-hostesses. Mrs. Max Sumsion, first president, presi-dent, of the club, gave a brief resume re-sume of the events leading up to organizing and federating the group after which Mrs- Mae Huntington Hunt-ington presented the same program pro-gram she presented on the initial meeting 12 years ago. This consisted con-sisted of a review of the book, "Demons Daughter" by Honore Morow. A11 former members were in- vited as special guests and those attending were introduced by Mrs. LaRell Johnson as follows: Mrs. Roy Hendrichsen, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Gerald Manson, Roy, Utah; Mrs. Lewis Harmer, Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove; Mrs. Harry Barrett, American Fork; Mrs. Letha Hanson, Han-son, American Fork; Mrs. Douglas Sheets, Idaho; Mrs. Edwin Dean, Provo; Mrs. LaMar Weight, Mrs. Blaine Wheeler, Mrs. Bert Brown Mrs. Glen Law, and Miss Naomi Weight, all of Springville. Mrs. Deal Miller was also a guest. After the program and visiting were enjoyed a dessert luncheon was served by the hostesses-Members hostesses-Members currently enrolled are Naomi MCKenzie, Helen Adams, Maurine Adams, Martha Bird, Louise Springer, Hazel Clyde, Yvonne Johnson, Maryn Johnson, 'Evelyn Jordan, Ethel Christopher-son, Christopher-son, Veryl Thompson, Evelyn Wol-sey, Wol-sey, Betty Sumsion, Florence Roy-lance, Roy-lance, Vera Zobell, Arlene Lough-nan, Lough-nan, Lucille Roylance, Wanda Peay, Suzanne Winston, Anna Ostlund, Beth Miller, Cora Lee Johnson and June Livsey. |
