Waters opened to angling May 2, are as follows: Deer Creek Reservoir, Res-ervoir, Scofield Reservoir, Provo River below the Murdock Canal Diversion Dam, Sevier River drainage drain-age below the Delta Diversion Dab, Clar Lake in Millard County, waters of the Logan River below the Mendon Bridge, Pelican Ponds, Little Bear River from Highway 91 to Cutler Dam, Cutler Dam in Cache County, Horseshoe Springs, Clear Lake, Kanaka Lake, and Mill Pond in Tooele County, Bear River from the Utah-Idaho State line to Great Salt Lake, Black Slough in Box Elder County, Redmond Red-mond Lake, Mona Reservoir, Mon-tez Mon-tez Reservoir, Borharn Lake, Locomotive Lo-comotive Springs, Pine View Reservoir, Res-ervoir, Echo Reservoir and Utah Lake. June 6 All species of either game or trash fish may be taken in any legal 'manner from all the early opening waters (May 2) except at Scofield Reservoir where only angling ang-ling with worms from shore or an anchored boat is permitted until the regular opening June 6. Greater Utah Valley, Inc., is decidedly de-cidedly in favor of college training for those mentally equipped to profit by it; but respectfully urges urg-es school administrators to critically criti-cally examine their scholastic offerings of-ferings in the interest of economy and greater efficiency. There is reason to believe .that research would show that some college courses changed little in the last forty or fifty years. Regulations governing the 1953 angling season were set by the Utah Fish and Game Commissioners Commission-ers in a special meeting held on February 21. Early opening date for some waters wa-ters was scheduled by the Commission Com-mission for May 2. The general season will open June 6, and continue con-tinue through October 11. The high lakes and streams, most of which are in the Uintah Mountains, will open to angling on Saturday, June Regulations covering size limit, fishing hours, daily and possession limits were set the same as during the 1952 angling season. They are: Size Limit: Seven inch minimum on all trout species except for fifteen inch minimum for mackin- aw or lake trout in Fish Lake, Sevier County. Ten inch minimum on bass. No minimum size limit on other species. j Fishing Hours: 5:00 a.m. to! 9:00 p.m. daily. Daily Bag Limit: Seven pounds and-or one fish or twelve fish, whichever is caught first.
