Show EDITORIALS: TO MOTHERS To Mom . . . whose loving smile is our encouragement encourage-ment when we feel despondent . . . who darns our socks and cooks our favorite dishes and fills our home with warmth and security . . . who devotes herself to keeping us well and happy and whose only reward is her secret pride in our success and achievements. To Mom whether she has the boundless energy of youth or the calm and wisdom of maturity, we love her. "Nothing's Too Good for Mom" is the slogan selected for this year's Mother's Day to be observed throughout the nation on Sunday, May, 13." There will be programs to honor Mother on Her day, and gifts galore to show her our appreciation, but all these will mean little if we forget her on other days. It is our everyday gifts and little remembrances which she appreciates most. We should therefore keep the slogan in mind "Nothing's Too Good for Mom" this Sunday and every Sunday and every clay throughout the year and whether whe-ther she is a Mom mature or still wearing bobby socks ; if she's a grandma once, twice or many times, it should be our objective to make Mother's Dav everv day. y |
