Highlighting the occasion was a talk given by Mrs. Glen Robertson, daughter-in-law of the Frank Robertsons Rob-ertsons of Mapleton who in most charming manner held the ladies spell-bound as she related some of her experiences in Europe during dur-ing World War II. A college graduate,-, speaking several languages, Mrs. Robertson worked for the underground un-derground during Nazi rule until her capture and placement in a large concentration camp. She told the ladies of the freeing of her native land of Czechoslo-vokia Czechoslo-vokia and how it later came into the hands of the Communists; of her efforts to escape and her journey jour-ney to South America. In Europe and in South America, she worked as a secretary. She met her husband in Rio de Janerio, and they were married August 3, 1953. She was not able to join him until the following December 15, making her a resident of this country coun-try only six months. In talking with Mrs. Rohertson, she is seemingly very happy in her adopted country but there must be times when her thoughts go back to an aged grandmother and a younger brother, the only surviving surviv-ing members of her family when she left for South America. She will go soon with her husband hus-band to Beaver, where he will teach school next year. Co-hostesses for the breakfast with Mrs. Franks were Mrs. Earl Moss, club president, who welcomed welcom-ed the ladies and Mrs. C. E. Eg-gertsen. Eg-gertsen.
